The Class of 2022 has elected its new class president, Mason Drummey. Mason is from Cape Cod, MA and plans to major in history here at Washington College. When asked about his credibility for this position, Drummey responded by stating that he had served on his high schools SGA for four years as well as leading service projects that later led to his oath as an Eagle Scout. Mason also talked about how he led several trail clean-ups and service projects which involved environmental efforts. He plans to organize fundraisers in forms of bake sales, car washes and also plans to organize fundraisers through corporate companies like Dominoes and others. Drummey also plans to expand on intramural activities for students to become more active on campus and develop friendships through means of cooperation and communication. He expressed his prospect on Washington College’s Explore! Program and its likelihood of expanding friendships through means of common interests. The SGA welcomes Mason, and hope for nothing but success in his class presidency.
