Recipe: Broccoli and Chicken Alfredo

This recipe comes from my family kitchen and has grown to be one of my favorites over the years. We always make this when my friends come over or for my birthday (per my request). When I moved away to college, I needed a modified version that would be small enough to make at school for myself or a few friends. The ingredients can be adjusted to serve as many as you need! This recipe is super easy, only uses a few dishes and takes less than 30 minutes to make!

Shopping List:

• 1 can of your favorite white Alfredo sauce (store bought)

• 1 broccoli floret, washed and cut into pieces

• 1 box of Fettucine noodles

• 1 package of pre-cooked, pre-cut, un-breaded chicken strips

Cooking Instructions:

1. Boil a pot of water for your noodles (takes about 10 minutes)

2. Cook noodles to your liking (I usually cook about 10 minutes)

3. While noodles are cooking, place chicken into a skillet to heat

4. Add garlic salt and pepper

5. Wash broccoli and cut into small pieces

6. Once the chicken is warmed, add the broccoli into the same pan

7. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes

8. Drain the noodles and add to the skillet

9. Heat up the Alfredo sauce in the noodle pan

10. Combine all ingredients

If you don’t have a stove, this recipe can be modified for a microwave! Sometimes I will use left over chicken breasts or omit the broccoli, whatever is easier for you. This fast and easy recipe is so tasty and will definitely be a new favorite for you!
