For her Senior Capstone Experience, senior Abbey Wark directed “Almost, Maine” which was an incredible production full of laughter, heart-felt moments, tears, excitement, along with so many other organic emotions. The plot follows characters in a town called Almost, who are all looking to for something. To either connect on a level of love, heartbreak, or find a place where they can fix themselves. Characters in each story fall, literally, for someone else throughout each scene.
I was able to see it before it officially opens and I have to say that everyone should see the show. The set design is remarkable and the character development is so well done. You can tell each individual took their time learning their part. This play is a must see. You will be feeling something at all points whether it’s laughter, sadness, or pure love. It truly is a stunning performance.
