With summer being so close and the seniors about to graduate, finding that extra push to strive for good grades, thorough papers, and close to perfect attendance is super difficult at this point in the semester. The weather is warming up, there are more things to do and places to see which all in all sounds like the perfect thing to do when you don’t feel like going to class only to just stare out the window wishing you were outside enjoying the day after a long winter. Good news though! There is still plenty of time to do all the things you want to all while maintaining good grades. Plan your days to make time to not only keep your grades up but also go enjoy the weather. Utilizing the outdoor seating by the library and all the space on the green are perfect places to study while sitting in the sun. Another fun tip to keep motivated is opening the windows of your dorm room. Fresh air is actually proven to keep your creativity flowing. Another fun tip is taking time over the weekend to go to a place outside Chestertown to explore but also find a different place to study. Sometimes finding a new place to study works wonders when you’re trying to remember simple information. There are only a few weeks left in the semester but I believe that everyone can do it! Seniors, may you enjoy the last few weeks of classes and you’re time here at Washington College. Best of luck to everyone this last semester!
