Birthday Ball has come and gone and for many so has our health. If you were not sick before this weekend’s festivities you are bound to be sometime in the near future. Our bodies had to take in a lot of excitement, a lot of unhealthy food, and for some a lot of alcohol. While these things are all common for some on Birthday Ball weekend endeavors, I’m sure some of us are not feeling completely well balanced today. We all took on a lot of fun this weekend so it is important to nurse your body back to prime health by eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of rest.
The first thing to do it drink plenty or water this week. Or you can even treat your body to a green tea cleanse. Green tea is great for getting rid of the bad toxins in your body and flushing everything out. It also makes you feel your best and is a sweeter alternative to water especially if you need a bit of caffeine to keep you going. Eat lots of green things especially if you indulged in the midnight breakfast after the ball or went out to eat with friends all weekend. Things like spinach and zucchini are tasty and great for your body. Get some cardio in a few times this week. Exercising may not sound like the most fun thing to do right now but it will help give you more energy. It will also help to rid your body of toxins through your sweat! Don’t forget to catch up on your sleep. You probably had a hectic and very long weekend so try to go to bed at a reasonable hour this week.
