Thanksgiving is Almost Here!

happy-thanksgiving-1Thanksgiving is just days always! This is the perfect time to catch up with family, relax, and eat some delicious home cooked meals. This break is the same as your friends from home so there will be opportunities to catch up and spend time with them. You can tell your high school best friends about how great Washington College is and all of the fun you are having. On Thanksgiving Day you will most likely get to spend time with family you have not seen since summer while being bombarded with questions you do not want to answer, such as the common “do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend” question asked by all your relatives. Nevertheless, it is great to hang out with your family and hopefully you will have a great time. Even if you just celebrate a small Thanksgiving Holiday nothing beats the amazing food. As college students we rarely get delicious home cooked meals so when we do you better believe we take full advantage. Make sure to take as many leftovers as you can so you can bring them back to school or even just eat them all the next day.

Take time to relax during break and spend time with your friends and family. Do fun things that you normally cannot do in Chestertown like going to the mall. Eat great food and get yourself ready for the rest of the semester. Take advantage of the free laundry before you return to campus. No matter how you spend your Thanksgiving break make sure to have fun! Visit family and friends who make you happy and enjoy what time you have with them. But most importantly eat as much as you can!

Have a great Thanksgiving!
